Entry: no title...happy? Tuesday, December 27, 2005

We have a party at school tomorrow err….no..a function! Woteva…to us, entering the school in civil dress is equivalent to having a party. For wot? Children’s day, Teachers’ day, Carnival… ab kya??...well…no particular name for this day…rather…we call it the ‘Wishing-you-best-of-luck-for-your-boards’ Day. Princi is calling us to go all around the school tomorrow morning and get the blessings of the ENTIRE school staff (I wonder how that will help me pass in chemistry…)Teachers are suppose stand in one plane and we are suppose to shake hands or touch their feet one after the other till u begin to curse yourself for being present that day..and remember! all this should be accompanied by a fake smile on your face. For all those planning to behave really desi and go around touching feet….I recommend them a MOOV ka Family pack :P And I can’t believe there are some nuts in my class who are planning to wear sari tomorrow…in this DAMN FREEZING weather and that too when the assembly is to be held in the OPEN basketball ground. Not me! I might die of frostbite =| …..Speaking of sari, had just tried it once.. about one year back…my friend would describe me in sari as ‘a long ribbon wrapped around a stick’ …. I would take that as a compliment :P…but I’ll wait for their really opinion on Farewell a.k.a The Official Kick Out….
Ours is gonna be zara hatke this year. For the first time farewell will be taking place in the evening and we are suppose to bring our parents with us :-S…and guess wot… we will be wearing those graduation gowns and den pose for pics….damn! why can’t we behave like kids for one last time? :P

I think I'll find another way
There's so much more to know
I guess I'll die another day
It's not my time to go

For every sin, I'll have to pay
I've come to work, I've come to play
I think I'll find another way
It's not my time to go

I'm gonna avoid the cliche
I'm gonna suspend my senses
I'm gonna delay my pleasure
I'm gonna close my body now…

Cya after few months…byee!!

ha ha ha!!! you bet!! I hated such pretentious ceremonies.. but now when I'm in college, I have a good laugh when I think about those days.. I'm sure, DA, you'll cherish these moments when you join college.... trust me

YUCK! I cant believe that your predictions came true! My cheeks grew stiff with the smile on my face. And my jaws... Ouch! It still hurts after saying 'Thank u ma'am/ sir' to all those teachers....
It was a nightmare! Remind me not to enroll my kids in ICS!

actually i think you'll love wearing those gowns...and then you can hurl those caps in the air and jump in joy...
abt the feet touching ceremony...why not make the teachers stand on a platform...that way you won't have to bend down :d
